System Design Engineer
Responsibilities:

Develops configurable machine vision systems whose capabilities include pharmaceuticals inspection, micro-spotted array imaging and microscopy for the medical and bioscience fields, as well as tactical surveillance, infra-red imaging, lock-in, pulse, transient and radio thermography for the aerospace, security and defense markets.

Develops machine vision applications involving digital image processing and analysis as well as motion control applications.

Conceptualizes, plans, builds and tests architecture of data acquisitions, test or control systems.

Researches and selects suitable system components and specifies system components with appropriate interfaces comprising the entire system.

Ensures the integrity of all signals within a system and develops control software for either a PC based platform, using LabVIEW, or an embedded system, using ANSI C or Assembly programming languages.

Responsible for prototyping and product development for clients as well as for internal projects.

Responsible for troubleshooting entire system using standard laboratory test devices, such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, digitizers and multi-meters.
Requirements:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology.

Knowledge of LabVIEW, ANSI C and Assembly and optical and solid-state devices, quantum electronics and analog and mixed signal IC design.
